  • All participants must be registered for the event.

  • All participants must be part of a team.

  • All participants must bring all equipment needed for the event.

Teams
  • Every team must have a unique team name.

  • Every team must be registered for the hackathon.

  • Every team requiere 4 to 6 members.

  • Every team must have a “team leader” to facilitate communication.

Projects
  • Must talk to the sponsors and define the list of topics and projects.

  • Every project must have a “project name”

Deliverables
  • Team Presentation

  • Elevator pitch with prototype demo presentation 

  • ZIP file of the source code of project

  • Every project source code must be unique, two teams can’t work on the same code.

Event
  • All participants must be free of the influence of any substance. 

  • All participants must be 18+ years of age.

  • No weapons allowed. 

  • Participants can bring food, beverages or snacks (no alcohol).

  • Access will be restricted only for participants.

  • The hackathon staff will not accept any bad behavior.

  • Any act performed by a participant is their responsibility.

  • The organization will not be held accountable for any inappropriate action carried out by any participant.

  • The non-acceptance of these bases will mean the participant's disqualification from participating in the final contest and expulsion from the event if the circumstances so require.

Will there be a place to sleep?

Yes, within the event venue a sleeping room will be assigned.

Will there be sleeping bags or beds?

No, people who want to sleep in the event venue must bring their own sleeping bag.

Can I participate remotely?

No, this event only accepts face-to-face participation.

Can I sign up even if I don't have a team?

Yes, the first day of the event there will be a time to search or form teams

Can I register in person on the day of the event?

No, registration has to be online, through the event link. The deadline is two weeks before the event.

Can I bring food into the event venue?

Yes, food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed to enter.

What facilities or tools will be in place?

We will provide: Internet, electrical connections, bathrooms.

How many meals will the Hackaton provide?

On days two and three of the event three meals will be provided. In case of following a specific diet, please notify the organizers through Slack.

Can I participate if I am in another city?

Yes, but the event is face-to-face and travel expenses will not be covered.

Does the hackathon cover transportation costs from other cities?

No, it only provides a place to sleep in case you come from another city.

How can I find out the latest news about the event?

The channels to give news are: The Slack channel that you can join from our website and also in the updates section on the event website.

What kind of problems will be solved in the hackathon?

The Challenges(Problem to solve) will be posted on September 1st 2022.

Is it free to participate?

Yes, there is no cost to participate in the hackathon. Also food will be provided for day 2 and 3.

If I'm a student, do I need my student ID to participate?

Yes, the event is open to the public, not just students so is needed to show any ID that a has a picture, your School ID is a valid ID.
